Pastor Steve
Pastor Steve Rohn grew up in a small town in upstate New York. Though he did not come from a Christian home, God, in His grace, placed faithful friends in his life during high school who consistently shared the gospel and demonstrated the love of Christ. During his senior year, the Lord opened his eyes and drew him to faith in Jesus. Steve married the love of his life, Julie, in March, 2014.
Rather than pursuing a traditional seminary path, Steve was discipled and trained through hands-on ministry under the guidance of several seasoned pastors. He is a devoted student of Scripture, with an extensive theological library and a passion for sound doctrine. For over a decade, he has served in a wide range of ministries, including youth ministry, street evangelism, homeless outreach, pro-life ministry, rescue mission preaching, and teaching Sunday school. Before moving to Lincoln, Steve served as an Associate Pastor in New Jersey.
Pastor Steve’s ministry is marked by a shepherd’s heart. While he deeply values study and preaching, he gladly sets aside his books to pray with, encourage, and walk alongside those in need. His greatest desire is to see Christ exalted and God’s people equipped to love and serve Him faithfully.
