What is AWANA? AWANA is an acronym for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (II Timothy 2:15). AWANA Clubs, International has designed a very unique program for churches. It is disciplined, high energy and fun! A club night consists of fun, games, teaching and Scripture memory. Your local AWANA club is a part of a network of 15,000+ other clubs around the world. YOUR KIDS WILL LOVE AWANA!
Who is running the local AWANA Program? The AWANA program in Lincoln is a joint effort by the Community Churches of Beverly and Lincoln.
Who is AWANA for? Our club will work with three age groups;
CUBBIES – Pre-Kindergarten but must be age three and going to Kindergarten in two years (Potty trained please!)
SPARKS - K through 2nd Grade
TRUTH IN TRAINING – 3RD Grade through 6th Grade
Where and When does AWANA meet? AWANA will meet September through April on Wednesday nights with the exception of school breaks. It will meet from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Christian Community Center at 137 N 4th.
Are there costs involved? There is no cost! This is new this year! Our policy is no child should be prevented from coming because of financial hardship. We want to see your kids get the best AWANA experience. Donation to help fund AWANA are encouraged. It Costs $25 plus to fund an AWANA clubber.
